Ο κορυφαίος Έλληνας επιστήμονας Χρήστος Ζουμπούλης μιλάει για τις πρωτοποριακές έρευνες του με «καθρέφτη» το δέρμα για την πρόληψη του Alzheimer, καρδιολογικών νόσων  και άλλων σοβαρότατων χρόνιων παθήσεων: «Ας ξεπεράσουμε την παραδοσιακή εικόνα της ιατρικής και ας πείσουμε τις κυβερνήσεις να επενδύσουν στον τομέα της πρόληψης. O λόγος που σημειώνω στον τίτλο μου ότι ο Χρήστος Ζουμπούλης φλερτάρει με το Νόμπελ είναι ο εξής: μίλησα με πολλούς διακεκριμένους επιστήμονες και ερευνητές στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό για τα θέματα αναγεννητικής Ιατρικής και πρόληψης και όλοι συμφωνούν ότι ο Χρήστος Ζουμπούλης έχει ακουστεί τουλάχιστον 3 φορές ως υποψήφιος για τον Νόμπελ Ιατρικής. όταν τον γνώρισα από κοντά διαπίστωσα εκτός από τον κρυστάλλινο εμπεριστατωμένο επιστημονικό του λόγο, ότι πρόκειται για έναν απίστευτα σεμνό άνθρωπο, αφοσιωμένο στην αγάπη του για την Ιατρική έρευνα και χαρούμενο όταν βρίσκεται στην Ελλάδα. Θα πρόσθετα αυθαίρετα ίσως και ευτυχή που δεν βρίσκεται στην Ελλάδα για να φέρει εις πέρας το επιστημονικό του έργο. Αξίζει να διαβάσετε το βιογραφικό του για να δείτε τα δεκάδες βραβεία και διακρίσεις που έχει λάβει αυτός ο λαμπρός Έλληνας Επιστήμονας.
